The water cooled rolls are used for the tunnel furnaces for transporting the slabs , and they are fabricated from steel shafts with special blocks welded on the core shaft, or spiral wires welded, to direct the water flow inside of the rolls, to help reduce the temperature of the rolls. Cast tyres are then welded to the shaft to provide the carrying surface for the slabs in the furnace. The wet rolls we produce can keep temperature up to 1290degrees.
